My name is Alison Rutherford, and I am an incoming sophomore at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up coming to CBS as a camper every summer for about 7 years now. I am an architectural engineering major, and I’m so excited to be at camp again this summer!
My name is Allie Bolding, and I am an incoming senior at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. I am originally from Austin and grew up coming to CBS as a camper every summer. I am an accounting major with a communications studies major and hope to get into the field of public accounting when I am done with school. I am also a KLIFE leader in Fort Worth and absolutely love it!
My name is Andy, and I will be a member of the leadership team this summer. I am going to be a junior at Baylor University, and this will be my second summer as a staff member of CBS. I love waterskiing and hanging with campers, and my position allows me to do both. All of my siblings have attended CBS, and each one looks back at the camp experience with fond memories. That being said, I am confident that this summer will change many lives including my own. I could not be more excited!

I am an animal science pre-vet major and hope to become a veterinarian after graduating college. I volunteer at Storybook farms in Auburn, AL, helping disabled children ride horses!
My name is Ashlyn Brandenburg and I just completed my senior year at Texas A&M University studying Animal Science and pursuing an Equine Science certificate. I was also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, a volunteer with Breakaway Ministries, and a member of TAMU Artists during my time at Texas A&M. I will be graduating this coming August, and I will be moving back to my hometown, Austin! This will be my third summer working at CBS, and I am ecstatic to be back at the horse barn for the summer.
Hi! My name is Audrey Spiller and I couldn’t be more excited to be taking care of your child this summer. I’m going to be a freshman next year at TCU and plan to major in Movement Science. In high school I played volleyball, basketball, and water polo. I was also heavily involved in Young Life. In my free time I enjoy eating cake balls, ice cream, and bagels.
My name is Benjamin Hull (Benjy for fun), and I am a senior at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. I grew up in Austin, TX, where my folks and little sister still reside. I attended CBS for a long time growing up and this camp definitely shaped me to be the person I am today. I have not been back to CBS in quite some time, and I’m more than excited to see it again this summer. I am a communications major and am also working on my business management minor, but my interests lie in music, dance, and production. I also like playing golf and beach volleyball.
My name is Bethany Dor, and I am an incoming sophomore at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. I’ve grown up in Abilene all my life and spent many summers here, so I am thrilled I get to work with kids and be in a beautiful place like Balcones Springs this summer! I am a marketing major and hope to get a job as a marketing director of some sort later on in the future. This is my first time being a camp counselor and going to CBS, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for me!

I am a Marketing major, and I hope to work with a marketing firm after I do a few internships with a marketing branch of large company. I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and spent part of my summer at camp for almost 10 years, and I still wish I was a camper daily!
My name is Caleb Eubanks, and I will be a senior at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas, beginning in the fall. I am from Monticello, Arkansas, and spent my first summer at CBS in 2015 as a counselor. I am a broadcast journalism major and hope to be a lead anchor or sports reporter one day. I have also been active in choir since high school and am still involved in my college choir. I am super excited to have another summer full of blessings, laughs, smiles, and memories.

My name is Chloe Pink, and I am an incoming junior at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. I am originally from Houston and grew up in Second Baptist Church, going to their camps for as long as I can remember, along with other camps around the US. I am a Kinesiology major in K-12 Physical Education and hope to own my own camp one day!
My name is Chris, and I’m from Austin! I recently graduated from Hyde Park High School, and I am going to the University of Oklahoma in the fall – BOOMER SOONER! I love to be outdoors, especially with my friends doing things like fishing, kayaking, and playing ultimate frisbee. Fishing is my biggest hobby; it is more of an addiction at this point. I compete in bass fishing tournaments regularly and have an absolute blast doing it. I love goofing off with my buddies as well; cracking jokes and making a fool out of myself is a daily occurrence. I can’t wait to be a counselor this summer!

Before becoming a counselor, I was a 6-year camper at CBS, the place where I had the best summers of my life.

Hi! My name is Mary Katherine Lance. I’m from Macon, GA, and I’m an incoming junior at Furman University in Greenville, SC, where I’m a RUF-goer and a Tri Delta. My favorite movie is High School Musical, and I can often be found watching videos of puppies and babies. I’m a religion major, and I’m hoping to double with non-teaching education to prepare me for whatever child-centered career I end up pursuing. This will be my very first summer at CBS, and I couldn’t be more excited!
I’m Matt McCalla, and I will be attending Wheaton College in Chicago next year as a freshman. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN, and I’m a big fan of the Grizzlies. I love playing tennis, and it’s my favorite sport. My favorite weekend activity is to go bike riding. This is my first year as a counselor at CBS, and this summer is my first time to ever visit Texas. I’m excited to say the least!

I am pursuing my degree in multidisciplinary studies with a specialization in special education and a minor in kinesiology. I am originally from Sugar Land, which is a rapidly growing city right outside of Houston. This will be my third summer here at CBS, but only my second summer as a counselor. My favorite activity at camp would have to be getting to go tubing on Lake LBJ. I am super excited to see what God has planned for CBS this summer!

Hey y’all, my name is Sadie Rinker! I grew up in Dallas, TX, but packed up my bags and moved to the heart of Music City! I am currently a student at Belmont University studying corporate communications with minors in education and Spanish. If y’all are ever in Nashville, you can probably find me hiking, eating Jeni’s ice-cream, or trying to act like a cool hipster in some hip coffee shop. After college, I hope to either be working at a Children’s Hospital or in the entertainment industry here in Nashville. Camp Balcones Springs has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years, and I could never imagine my life without it. What a blessing CBS is!
