Term 3 is Here!

Greetings from Term 3! We have had the most dreamy weather at camp. The days have been a cool and breezy 85 degrees accompanied by peaceful afternoon rains. The flowers and fields are so verdant – it’s almost like we are in North Carolina! We’ve been able to do so many outdoor activities and games that we wouldn’t normally be able to do in the afternoons, especially in July!

This week, we taught all of our Senior Camper and Work Crew girls the basic elements of self-defense thanks to the resident talents of CBS’ own Mr. Daniel Adams, a self-defense and taekwondo expert!

Thursday evening, we hosted our ever-popular Women’s Dinner, an elegant evening for Girls Camp set in our Rio Grande Dining Hall. Campers are treated to a gourmet buffet of food, featuring delicate marinated shrimp, lemon aïoli blanched asparagus, wontons, mozzarella sticks, pizza made-to-order, and delicious Caesar salads made with homemade croutons and fresh vegetables harvested from our very own CBS garden!
