Our current team competition score is:

Texas Rangers and Lonestars: 21

Rough Riders and Silver Spurs: 28

The Rough Riders and Silver Spurs continue to maintain their lead!

Featured Activity Highlight - Baseline

Sundays are a special day here at camp! Campers start their morning with our Sunday morning buffet: always krispey kreme and a taco bar!

Dressed in white and khaki, after breakfast all campers headed down to our beautiful amphitheater overlooking the lake for our Sunday Baseline ceremony. Campers sat with their cabin and counselors, and we started the program in song together! A camp favorite Sunday song is “Every Move I Make”.

We then heard from our baseline speaker. This term, it was Jimmy Miller, an inaugural camper, longtime staff member, and camp legend known for his unforgettable pranks and “campers first” mindset. He spoke to campers about the importance of letting their lights shine for the world, referencing this summer’s theme of “Leave Your Legacy”! CBS Owner Christine Baskin then spoke to the importance of friendship, growth, and legacy here at camp!

It was a beautiful baseline to close off our summer!

Evening Program Highlight - Powder Puff

On Sunday night, our Senior Camper, Ladybird, and O’Connor girls took the field for the Camp Game Day powderpuff game, a fierce matchup between the Silver Spurs and the Lonestars. As the sun shown a deep gold in the afternoon sky, the girls left everything on the field.

All other campers spectated the game, cheering, boasting handmade signs, and enjoying sideline snow cones all the while.

In a close game, the Spurs came out on top, earning three more points for their team.

From signs and sideline snacks to bright lights and big wins, it was a day full of team spirit, intense sport matchups, camp tradition, and plenty of phun!
