We start our day strong with breakfast!
In addition to our daily selections of creamy oatmeal and toppings, fresh fruit medley, a toast bar, and scrambled eggs with salsa and cheddar, every morning at breakfast we serve featured breakfast menu items! Wednesday they enjoyed:

Every morning after breakfast, our campers start their day off with Team Competition, AKA “Team Comp”. This friendly competition includes games like kickball, mini soccer, O-Ball, Nuke Em, and Steal the Bacon. The winners of each game earn their respective teams (Rough Riders and Silver Spurs vs. Texas Rangers and Lone Stars) points toward a head start for our highly anticipated Amazing Race at the end of the term.

The Rough Riders and Silver Spurs continue to maintain their lead!
Sailing at CBS has been a favorite for years. Campers learn how to plug a drain, drop rudder, raise the sail, put in the daggerboard, and rach and gybe! We have had great wind every afternoon and each team of campers has practiced manning the rudder, and of course watching out for the boom. Our beautiful, brand new Aqua Finn sail boats were delivered from Charleston, South Carolina, on May 31st!
There are few thrills that match that of sailing on our deserted piece of Lake Travis! A mix of calm and adrenaline! A quiet lapping of water against the hull and all of the sudden tension in the sail as a gust of wind catches and the boat rushes and surges forward!
“Cake upside the head! Cake upside the head!” if you know, you know.
For our final theme night of the Term 4, campers gathered in the Gridiron and on Grassy Knoll for one giant CBS birthday bash! Frosting, sprinkles, confetti, candles, and celebration filled the night from start to finish!
Campers danced the night away on the Gridiron dance floor while birthday-themed side games took over the Grassy Knoll! Campers made felt birthday crowns, took swings at the piñata, played bean bag toss, danced their way around the Cake Walk, and enjoyed bagel pizza bites, birthday cake, a cupcake decorating bar, and star-shaped fruit skewers!
The whole space was dressed for the occasion with paper lanterns, balloons, scalloping streamers, ribbon, candelabras, and tables decorated like cakes in true birthday fashion! Campers came ready to celebrate, dressed as cake slices, sprinkles, cupcakes, candles, chefs, and more in this colorful birthday celebration!
