10 Reasons for Camp

10 Reasons to Go to Camp Balcones Springs 1) New friends: School friends are great, and so are those on your soccer, swim, and dance teams, but there is truly nothing like a camp friend. End of Term 4 & Summer 2021

Greetings from Lola the pup’s depressed face and the first week post-camp. :( We wanted to recap the close of Term 4 and our entire 2021 Summer before we take a break to reflect on the year and what’s to come in 2022. Glow Parties, Fairy Tales, and Mission Impossible!

As we approach the end of Term 4, we wanted to recap some of the fabulous night activities we have hosted this session! We’re also been able to whip up delicious pasta salads, vegan side dishes of acorn squash and zucchini grown in our very own CBS garden, and grilled portobello mushrooms with a balsamic glaze! A hearty meal isn’t complete without dessert of course, so we also... Read more.

Women's Dinner + Cook-Out!

We have had an amazing first week of Term 4! First of all, Girls Camp got to celebrate our famous Women’s Dinner, an elegant evening honoring all of the girls at camp with tasty food, dancing, and an empowering and inspirational talk from our Girls Camp Director. For dinner, each cabin gets to design made-to-order pizzas for their table, and everyone enjoys delicious and elegant appetizers. We ended the night with a viewing of the classic film, The Princess Diaries. This term, we have quite the talented crew of counselors coaching our field sports! Our football classes are led by...
